Born and bred in Berlin, Monika studied music before moving to London and later to Southampton. Having spent time bringing up a family since, she has now rekindled her musical activity, including songwriting, and become a regular at various open mic nights around Southampton, whilst also co-running the Open Mic at the Dolphin in St Denys every Wednesday night.
