Local performers wanted
The Beggars Fair is a festival that promotes local talent, so we only consider acts who are local to Romsey and the surrounding area. If you’re based in Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Andover, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, or nearer, then get in touch. We’re looking for performers based roughly within 25 miles of Romsey as shown in the map below.
Payment? There's a clue in our name!
The Beggars Fair is a community festival run by unpaid volunteers – our event is funded by donations to the festival from visitors purchasing the Souvenir Programme, and the generous support of many local businesses. All venues are free-of-charge for attendees, and our performers also play for free. This enables us to host the Beggars Fair as a free event for the people of Romsey and the surrounding area.
