The Oyster Girls

The Oyster Girls Morris side was formed on the Isle of Wight back in 1971, so this year we have been dancing for 45 years. We dance mainly in the North West style, using sticks, hankies, garlands and bobbins, and our kit consists of green dresses, with a red and gold frill, black tights and green clogs. Our musicians wear black trousers, white shirts and red waistcoats.
