Sharing the joy of traditional shanties and “songs of the sea”, all sung a cappella true to the sea-faring tradition but with a fresh approach, including mixed male and female voices and atmospheric harmonies.
If you like what you hear and are inspired to give it a go, then The Steam Town Shanty Crew meet every Monday from 8pm to 9pm in the brewery room at Steam Town Brewery Co. in Eastleigh for a shanty singing session. Pay as you go £5 cash or card. All over 18s are welcome.
